Virpi Räisänen-Midth has been invited the second time in a row to the Salzburger Festspiele. In the festival of 2010 she will sing the role of Mezzo-soprano in the new opera of Wolfgang Rihm Dionysos which will receive it's world premiere in Salzburg. Alltogether 4 performances will teke place in the Mozart-Haus and they will be conducted by Ingo Metzmacher and stage directing will be by Pierre Audi. This opera is a coproduction with De Nederlandse Opera, Amsterdam and Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Berlin.
